The Mayak Hotel is a real symbol of the city. It was here that the history of Omsk originated and in 1716 the first Omsk fortress was founded.
Construction of the building began in 1958, and in September 1964 the Mayak Hotel welcomed its first guests. In addition to the Hotel, the river station hall, the airline and railway ticket offices, and the well-known Mayak restaurant were located here. Over the years, a lot has changed in the building of the river station, but the main thing has remained unchanged — the Mayak Hotel. The building of the former river station is a monument of Soviet architecture of the modernist era. Stylized like a ship and standing at the very edge of the water, it really resembles a liner cutting through the ocean. In 2009, a large-scale reconstruction of the building was carried out, increasing the number of rooms at the Hotel due to the opening of a new building. Today, located in the heart of the historical city center, the Mayak Hotel consists of two buildings named after the great Omsk rivers – Om (3 stars) and Irtysh (4 stars).
Our Guests highly appreciate the convenience of the Hotel's location in the center of the city's business and cultural life.
